An introduction to the Robata-yaki course at Sumi Kakanowai, a hideaway near Hakata Station!

Hello, I am Charcoal Kakawi.
The cold weather is in full swing in December, and you will miss hot dishes.
How is everyone doing?
Located a 4-minute walk from the Chikushi Exit of Hakata Station, our restaurant offers dishes packed with the delicious flavors of Kyushu.
A full course is also ideal for year-end parties!
Sumi Kakanowi offers a course of Robata-yaki and Kyushu delicacies all at once.
Our restaurant offers "Kakowi's Specialty Course" which allows you to enjoy Robatayaki dishes using seasonal ingredients.
Taking advantage of Kyushu's natural bounty, fresh seafood, meat, and vegetables are char-grilled with gusto!
Enjoy the mackerel iron-pulled from the Kujuku Islands and assorted sashimi of the freshest quality.
In addition, the "Toroi Eel Meida-yaki" and "Wagyu Beef Menchikatsu" are also excellent!
The earthenware pot rice, which changes monthly, is carefully cooked with mineral-rich lava water, giving the rice alone a delicious flavor.
Please take your time to enjoy it with Kyushu's local sake.

We also recommend the "Seasonal Charcoal Grill Course" using fresh ingredients.
The menu uses fish from Hakata and meat from Kyushu in abundance, and the "Charcoal Grilled Gindara Cod Marinated in Miso" is especially popular!
Slow grilling over charcoal ensures that the outside is crispy and the inside is fluffy.
The restaurant also offers a wide variety of meat dishes such as "Charcoal-grilled Chami Pork Shoulder Loin" and "Itoshima Pork Mushroom Cutlet".
The vegetables are also grilled over charcoal to bring out their sweetness, allowing you to experience the true flavor of the ingredients.
How was it?
Organize an enjoyable year-end party with a course of your choice of dishes!
We will entertain you with all our heart.
We look forward to serving you!
